Crema's Take
“This bright, welcoming counter-service spot brings authentic Hawaiian malasadas to Pleasant Grove with impressive consistency and care—their pillowy donuts dusted in Nutella, chocolate mousse, cookie butter, or haupia are clearly the main draw, but reviewers rave just as loudly about the breakfast sandwiches and burgers built on exceptional buns. The combination of impeccable cleanliness, genuinely friendly service, and craveable food has locals becoming repeat addicts within days, making it feel like a little slice of Hawaii tucked behind the Zion Curtain.”

We ordered : Nutella w powdered sugar Chocolate mousse w cinnamon sugar Cookie butter e powdered sugar Haupia (coconut cream) powdered sugar We rate this a 10/10 they were all delicious. It’s like a roll of stone and a doughnut had a baby. It’s the perfect consistency and mix with a tiny little crisp on the outside seriously amazing we will be back. It’s a really cute atmosphere and everyone was really nice.
This place is tasty and CLEAN! We've tried a bit of everything. The malasada's are clearly the thing they are known for but the burgers and breakfast sandwiches are even better IMO. The buns are what make the sandwiches so good. I'm pretty sure they use malasada rolls without sugar. They are my favorite burger bun, hands down.
Onoh’s Malasada Co is a little taste of Hawaii here behind the Zion Curtain. Their newest outpost in PG is a bright, clean, welcoming spot. You order from the counter and service is friendly. We ordered a couple of malasadas. I got one sans a sugar coating as I was getting the mango drizzle. I also did the raspberry filling. It made for a delicious dessert. I did find it the dough to be a tad heavier than the malasadas I’ve laid waste to over the years across the Hawaiian Islands. And word to the wise, get the drizzle on the side. It made for a bit of a sticky affair eating it up. Ohno’s is a fun place. Definitely one worth revisiting.
Food Quality: 4/5 Service: 5/5 m Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 First a time trying out Onoh’s Malasada and it was good experience overall. They offer the traditional malasadas with your choice of toppings and fillings as well as savory items, which is a nice change from a lot of other places! We got the Kalua Burger and the Kalua sandwich along with 3 sweet malasadas. The burger was good and well balanced, but the pork was overly salty - not sure if that’s normally how it is or if we got a bad batch. Not the end of the world, but probably won’t be getting that one again. The malasadas were made earlier that evening and were filled once we ordered. The staff were super nice welcoming and friendly the moment we walked in and the restaurant was well-kept. Would come back for the sweet malasadas if I’m in the area!
Wow. This addiction started just 6 days ago for our company. My business partner showed up with the Founders Favorite box of Malasadas (donuts to us uncultured peeps). This was the beginning of the end. Today we ordered the savory sandwiches, burgers, and fries for our employee lunch party of 10. Everyone loved what they picked. The fries are hands down the best fries paired with the Onho's sauce these are dangerous. Pictured are the Southwest Burger, BBQ Burger, fries, and a Bavarian Cream Malasada with raspberry sauce drizzle on the side. I wish we had captured the chicken and breakfast sandwiches prior to being eaten by employees as they were juat as scrumptious. This will be a regular request from our employees.
