I am so glad I came across this pie shop! You are greeted by sweet essences of fresh baked pies. They have 4 main savories pies. Every single one looked delicious. I tried the mini coconut cream pie, and I enjoyed every bite of it. It was creamy, shredded coconut and the sweetness was perfect. The crust was amazing!!! I was offered a sample of the sausage quiche and it was so yummy that I had to take a mini version home. I was planning to shared with my husband but I couldn’t stop eating… it was so good and now I have more than one reason to go back for more. The place looked lovely 😊 they have on display different things like aprons, coffee mugs, candy pecan, popcorn, recipe books. Also they have a section for frozen pies. So many flavors… to choose from. Service was friendly, kind and enthusiastic 🤩

I received a Chicken Pot Pie as a corporate gift. I wasn't expecting much because mostly people make them too sweet. This was packed with chicken and veges, the crust was perfect and the taste amazing! The price is just a bit too high for me, but I highly recommend!

Southern Bakery never disappoints! I purchased the beef pot pie, and it is always delicious — great flavor, perfectly savory, and clearly made with care. Consistently high quality every time. Highly recommended!

I hate to write this review, but it feels like my only recourse. I sent one sweet and one savory pie to my parents for Christmas. My father is 82 with limited mobility, so I thought it would be a nice treat for them to have both a dinner and a dessert they could enjoy without having to cook or leave the house. They prepared the pies the day they arrived and reached out to me right away. The chicken pot pie was delicious, but the salted caramel turtle pie was rancid. Not just “not our taste”—actually bad. I was mortified and contacted customer service immediately. Instead of any concern or willingness to help, I was told it must just be a “personal preference” and that they don’t offer replacements or refunds. I was honestly stunned. I’ve never encountered customer service so dismissive or unwilling to address a concern. At the very least, acknowledging the issue or showing some effort to resolve it would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be ordering from them again.

Update 8/25: I feel very confident in my ability to recommend this place. I've now had the chicken pot pie, pecan pie, blueberry pie, mixed berry pie, and the cinnamon rolls. All are excellent! Key Lime is next... I experienced this for the first time at the farmer's market the other week. One bite of the peach pie was all it took. It's delicious! I really enjoyed the chocolate chess pie too. Those two are my favorites. We tried the birthday cake and buttermilk slices too. I wish I could get a slice of blackberry! I'll definitely be a returning customer whenever I need pie. I love the look and atmosphere of the store too. Stop by if you ever need pie!
