Barista Parlor

300 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN

★★★★4.3(110 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

Tucked inside Nashville's W Hotel, Barista Parlor surprises with a genuinely cozy, plant-filled retreat that feels more intimate refuge than hotel lobby—perfect for lingering over pour overs or creative signature drinks like their standout Whiskey Caramel latte. The espresso-focused menu shines brighest with their specialty creations and matcha offerings, though the pricing skews premium and consistency varies, so you might want to ask staff for their recommendation rather than playing it safe with a standard latte.

Great atmosphere really prettyI love all the plants and cactus. 8 dollars for a little latte? I don’t know. This isn’t New York.

I did not love the iced latte unfortunately ~ especially since I am used to Barista Parlor being placed in the specialty coffee level of shops. I have heard their matcha is better. Maybe to be expected for an insert location at the W. Great place to work though, and I will go back and try a hot latte or maybe a cortado.

Very cool spot with amazing seating and great vibes. The coffee was really good and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I wasn’t a big fan of the almond croissant.

Spacious, quiet, comfortable. That’s immediately what Barista Parlor feels like upon entering. Located in the W hotel, you can enter through an almost-side-door or through the main hotel lobby (just go right once inside). There are several seating areas on a unique, tiered floor plan that adds a lot of privacy to each arrangement. The asymmetrical floor plan also has an integrated wheelchair ramp which makes the entire coffee shop accessible. The menu is fairly simple which facilitates quicker decisions on which drink to pair with the room’s atmosphere. Along the back wall is a gift shop (not associated with the coffee shop) and a private lounge area (accessible with a hotel keycard). Definitely a great spot to come in and hang out for a few hours.

Nice coffee place with interesting latte options. Espresso wasn’t amazing, but the Whiskey Caramel latte was delicious. For being in an hotel lobby, the atmosphere is pretty cozy and calm. Service was solid.
