Crema's Take

Hope Cafe is a warmly welcoming community hub that blends coffee culture with a curated shopping experience, featuring handmade goods and local products alongside their menu. While their specialty drinks like lavender-infused beverages and creative pastries shine, espresso devotees should note they focus on drip coffee rather than espresso-based drinks. The genuinely patient and friendly staff create an atmosphere perfect for lingering over a leisurely coffee, meeting friends, or supporting their mission of community development and employment opportunities.

The team here is so welcoming and always patient when I am not sure what to order. What a wonderful service to have in our community that is also giving back and developing employment.

I went to the cafe on my lunch hour. In the past I have gotten wonderful food and had enough time to eat and return to work on time. Today the food was terrible, they brought out my friend’s food and I waited. When they did bring my sandwich it did not have the chips and pickle with it. I asked about it and the waitress took my sandwich back. Again, I waited. My friend went to the counter and actually got my food and brought it over. The waitress was taking orders and did not bring my food over, it was just sitting on the counter. By the time I got my food I had only a few minutes to eat and get back to work. I will not come here for lunch again. The sandwich was dry and did not taste good.

Lovely place to come and shop. Very lovely staff and such a beautiful atmosphere. However, if you are an espresso lover, this is not your place. Only drip coffee is sold here. Their “lattes” are also just drip coffee. My caramel latte was steamed milk with a hint of drip coffee and caramel drizzle on top. The made to order food is average. Some things tastier than others, but overall not bad. The desserts are lovely. The cinnamon roll was delicious. Definitely ask for it to be heated up.

Super cute café with delicious coffee and different kind of cakes. There are also small units with various articles like jewellry and self made honey which you can purchase.
