First time here and won't be my last! First...it's adorable. Everyone who works there is so nice...excellent service! The food is yummy and inventive. I had the Mad Hatter sandwich which was kinda like a BLT but instead of mayo, it was creamy goat cheese with craisins and...pistachios!! It was amazing! My mum had the chicken salad which she really liked. We also got a pot of tea that was soooo good! I think we'll go for their afternoon tea service next time cus that looked really good!!

I made reservations for high tea for a large group and had good communication prior as there was an allergy concern. Once we arrived everyone was excited as only two of us have done high tea before. Arriving we were greeted by the host and I explained that we had one person who had a family emergency and left town late that night, she seemed annoyed and replied with “because it’s not 24 hours in advance you still have to pay for that person. We can pack it in a to go box for you.” If this is the policy we understood and didn’t mind paying it, but an ‘I’m sorry to hear that but” or ‘unfortunately our policy is” something that would at least show some form of kindness.. considering the sign on the door says to be nice to the host. Tea was lovely, the food was good, the inside is super cute! We were past the initial interaction and having a nice time, another staff member came to our table, clapped her hands together and said “So-were closed” and began cleaning up around us. Again, it’s the lack of care towards your customers, ‘I hope you enjoyed everything, unfortunately we do close at 3’ would’ve made the same point.. we didn’t realize it was closing time and were happy to get out of their hair it’s just the way we were spoken to both times that took everyone off guard. In my opinion the staff just needs a little more guidance on costumer service etiquette. Overall happy to tip our server the extra 20% per person for the girl we didn’t have there, but wouldn’t go back if we were visiting the area again.

I took my mother there the week after Mother’s Day and we had a fabulous time! It’s a quaint place….bigger than what I was expecting, with cute little rooms with different themes. The food was fresh and fabulous! We had a high tea reseevation, but many people came in for lunch! Every plate that was brought in looked delicious.

Had Afternoon Tea today and it was absolutely wonderful. The venue is beautifully decorated with plenty of small touches that really make it feel special. The service was top notch. Our server Michelle was so sweet and very efficient. The tea was delicious and stayed hot throughout our dining experience due to the adorable warmers on the table. The tiers of food were very scrumptious and ample. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. We left feel very full and satisfied. The price for all that you get for an afternoon tea experience couldn't be beat, very affordable. I highly recommend treating yourself to an afternoon at the Book and Bee!

Absolutely delicious. We were hoping for high-tea but misunderstood the message on the phone line and didn't make a reservation. We had cream tea, roasted tomato soup, and open faced sandwich. We finished off with the blueberry cobber cheesecake. The blueberry scone and cheesecake and soup were the standouts. The service was great too. The place is VERY CUTE!! Bummed we didn't get to try the hightea.
