Vintage Coffee Cafe - Greenville
1501 E North St, Travelers Rest, SC
Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused spot in Travelers Rest has won over Greenville with house-made syrups that elevate their specialty drinks and a surprisingly solid breakfast menu featuring standouts like their farro bowl. The newly revamped space strikes that coveted balance between cozy and clean, making it equally appealing whether you're lingering solo with a slow pour or meeting up with friends over pastries and creative cold brews. Just know the lines move fast when they're slammed, and their food portions are generous enough to justify a leisurely sit.”

Favorite coffee in Greenville!! Iced vanilla latte with oat milk and a splash of cinnamon syrup. Their house made syrups are the game changer. The food is also very delicious and the eating space is comfortable.
Hubby used to work at Perch so we wanted to stop by and check it out. We also heard they were under new management as well and we gotta say...this might be our new favorite brekkie spot! We wanted to try everything on the menu and the stuff that's not on the menu. We got to sample the carrot and feta soup and it was so good we left with two to go bowls, a to go coffee and forgot to mention the chai with brown sugar is delicious. The coffees were just what we hoped for and the girls offered suggestions to make them even better. They also have mimosa carafes. It was still beautiful inside and every single thing we had was delicious, timely served and came with excellent service and conversation. We always sit at the bar so we like to get to know the place better that way. The only thing missing was liquor options. Coffee cocktails and bloody Marys would take this place over the top! I can just taste how good the espresso martinis and Irish coffees would be with their excellent coffee. Before we left a couple girls came in and we suggested they try the soup and they loved it too. I know it may have taken them a bit of time to get the best staff and work out the kinks but, they worked them out. 9.9/10 and only so because we would have loved some more spirit options.
Coffee was excellent and the staff was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was clean and cozy but I was hoping for it to be a bit cuter. I got a farro bowl and it was crazy good.
I usually enjoy this place but I was pretty sad this visit. We ordered 2 chicken caesar wraps and a cookie which ended up costing $30+ and took 45 min. Usually the wraps are amazing and are stuffed with chicken but this time it was straight lettuce with two pieces of chicken. I would have said something but we got it to go and didn’t have time to wait another 30 min to remake. Please do better, it sucks when your favorite place isn’t consistent.
Y'all! The fam and I went to the newly opened Vintage Coffee Cafe on E. North next to Mr. Crisp. The line was out the door which is to be expected for the third day open Once ordered, the food arrived in about 10 minutes. The customer service is wonderful, and it's now my favorite breakfast place! They have numerous different toasts--avocado, whipped ricotta, feta, goat cheese with peaches. Their brioche breakfast sandwiches are large and delicious with fluffy eggs. The hotcakes come with what tasted like a brown-butter caramel syrup that was to die for. I know we have a lot of coffee shops already, but this one sets itself apart from the rest!
