Daphne's Tears Bakery Cafe

Crema's Take
“This cozy Worcester newcomer has already won hearts with its ceremonial matcha tea and inventive specialty drinks that go well beyond standard coffee shop fare, though the skilled espresso work occasionally leans bitter. The real magic happens when you settle in with one of their exceptional savory pastries like cheddar and chive scones or a Turkish sausage sandwich, paired with refreshing seasonal creations like their iced honey lemon ginger tea. Staff like Zeania and Anil genuinely remember regulars and create the kind of welcoming, unhurried atmosphere that makes you want to linger—even if the space itself is still finding its footing.”

Stopped in for my first time yesterday. I tried the blueberry scone, cappuccino and the Famous Ceremonial Matcha Tea. Everything was excellent! The prices are a bit higher for the Worcester area but you get what you pay for. This is a top quality cafe which has become a new favorite for me. The warm, friendly atmosphere and choice of music is very welcoming. Please keep the blueberry scones on the menu, they are the best!
Their cheddar & chive scones were amazing. Coffee was a little bitter for me, but they had sugar readily available.
Went here with my family on 5-05-2025 , my Aunt treated us for a special treat. Zeania Anil seemed to know my aunt well ! Zeania and Anil were friendly and helpful. We ordered The White Chocolate Moch Espresso Iced Coffee a little too strong but not bad, and my mom got the Strawberry Cupcake , I got the Raspberry Cupcake which was very good and my Dad got the Lemon Square which was yummy and and my Aunt ordered the Peanut Butter smoothie she seemed to enjoy it ! My sister ordered a bagel with cream cheese and espresso iced coffee, too . Nice little place! Friendly staff ! Great pastries !
AMAZING new hidden gem in Worcester! I had an iced honey lemon ginger tea and it was so refreshing , just the right amount of sweetness! I also had the Turkish sausage (sujuk) sandwich which is everything you want in a sandwich. Crispy bread, melted cheese, flavorful sausage. The atmosphere of the cafe is phenomenal, so cozy, great for meeting up with friends or getting work done. The staff is also super friendly!
We were excited to hear of a new coffee spot in Tatnuck - we stopped in this weekend during their second week open. Upon first impression, the layout and atmosphere left much to be desired, but the staff were welcoming and patient as we browsed the menu. We got a sausage, egg & cheese sandwich and avocado toast with bacon, both on everything bagels, as well as an iced Belgium chocolate mocha and an iced white chocolate mocha. Personally, the sausage and bacon were not my favorite (I prefer a ground sausage and crispy bacon!) and the bagels were a bit chewy - it wasn’t quite on par with what I was expecting for a breakfast sandwich. I also wish the avocado was freshly sliced - it was mashed and seemed like it may have been premade. The sandwich was initially missing the egg, but this was quickly corrected, and the staff even gave us a strawberry cupcake to thank us for our patience. Our mochas were decent (I preferred the dark chocolate over the white) and the staff offered us to-go cups so we could take it with us on the walk home. The staff are all enthusiastic and very kind, I hope they do well in this location!
