What a great experience! I just completed the Royal Icing Cookie Decorating class and it was so informative. I really learned a lot from Evette, she is a fabulous instructor. She taught several decorating techniques and included recipes for us to use at home as well. Not only did we succeed in creating beautifully decorated cookies, but we had so much fun too! Highly recommend Jacksonville Cakes & More and Ms. Evette. You will love her classes!

Fabulous teacher. Great experience. A true professionally trained chef who also knows how to teach. I’ve been to other cake decorating classes locally (Jacksonville, Orange Park) but Chef Evette shows step by step instructions with hand placement, position of the piping bag, angle of the tip and many more…… not just “put your tip here and squeeze”. ALL of her decorations and techniques and recipes are thoroughly verbalized, demonstrated and taught with observation and correction. She gives each student individual attention and doesn’t use class time to make her own personal cakes or cakes for sale, leaving you alone learning incorrectly. There is no downtime due to lack of supplies and you don’t have to wait to share tools with the entire class. Chef Evette is always prepared with extra provisions too. If you make a mistake with your icing, she always has more and teaches you how to fix your mistakes without you having to sit the rest of the class out or take home a ruined cake. She really cares about every student and has a true passion for teaching and creating. I wish I had come up her years ago and not wasted my money and time with amateurs.

I recently attended the Royal Icing Cookie decorating class and enjoyed it very much. Evette was a very enthusiastic and amazing teacher. Her passion for her craft shows in her patience and helpful tips for beginners like me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get their feet wet and learn to make amazing treats.

This place offers the BEST cake/cookies and specialty classes in town. I've been to many of Wilton's cake decorating classes and they didn't even compare to the amount of information I've received at this place. I will definitely be returning to take ALL of their classes. If you want to know how to bake and decorate cakes and cookies the right way, then this is the place to go. My daughter and I left with a fully decorated cakes that looked very professional. This did not happen when I took the Wilton classes at Michael's. BIG DIFFERENCE! These ladies teach from their skills and most importantly from their hearts. And a great perk is they have various cake decorating supplies at a reasonable price. So this eliminates you from ordering online and paying those high shipping fees. If you want to learn or craft your skills in baking cakes or cookies...this is the place to go! So glad I found them online.
