Crema's Take
“Dalian's Cafe is a cozy neighborhood gem in downtown LA where the owner's genuine warmth matches the quality of their coffee, and their thoughtfully priced add-ons like affordable oat milk make customization feel accessible rather than like an afterthought. The airy space strikes that perfect balance between quick-grab convenience and slow-sit comfort, with ample outdoor seating that invites you to linger over pastries that taste as good as they look.”

This is a great cafe with reasonable prices and I love that oat milk is only $0.50 more. Pastries looked and tasted great. There is ample outdoor seating and this place feels cozy. The owner was working the shop and had a great reputation with the regulars. Drinks came out quickly and he heated up our pastries. He was very sociable and just the right amount, I didn't feel like I had to have a conversation but I felt acknowledged and friendly.
It's a casual coffee shop with fresh pastry and juices. The gentleman host is very polite, welcoming and accommodating. Variety of Coffee drinks be to order. Glass cups for drink in. Great location next to historic Biltmore lobby.
Wonderful coffee and pastries. Lovely service. I would suggest more sugar options like agave or honey for their drinks.
This airy little coffee shop is a gem. The vibe is warm and welcoming, with clean interiors, great music, and just enough seating to feel cozy. There are two tables inside and 3–4 outside, perfect for a relaxing sip. What I Love Most: • Their coffee is consistently delicious. • The alternative milk selection is impressive—macadamia, oat, almond, to name a few • My go-to: a 16oz macadamia nut latte ($7) • Hot drinks come in 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz
This coffee shop in downtown is a total gem! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with plenty of cozy seating. The coffee is hands-down some of the best I’ve had — rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. Their pastries and small bites are fresh and delicious, perfect for pairing with your drink. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend something new to try. It’s the kind of place where you can relax with a book, catch up with friends, or get some work done without feeling rushed. If you’re in downtown and love great coffee, this is a must-visit spot. Highly recommend!
