Crema's Take

Lord's Bagels in Hillside is a cozy neighborhood spot that's earned its reputation as a reliable regular haunt, thanks to a menu that stretches well beyond bagels to include omelets, Philly cheesesteaks, and burgers that keep people coming back. The airy, spacious interior with plenty of seating makes it equally welcoming for a solo work session with your laptop or a casual first date, and the staff's genuine kindness adds warmth to every visit. Fair warning: prices trend toward the higher end, but the quality of standouts like their egg everything bagels and house-made yucca cheese balls suggests they're betting on loyal customers who think it's worth it.

Wife an I were at the cemetery upon leaving we see Lord's Bagels. Wife hmm I can go for a bagel. We decide to stop in cute cozy spot good for a first date or lunch. I ordered short stack with a side of bacon. Wife ordered the French toast platter which comes with home fries. Food was good service was great atmosphere was awesome. Next time in that part of town it is good to know I have a place to grab a really good meal.

This has become my regular stop when I am in town. They have a very large variety of food that goes well beyond bagels that includes, omelets, Philly Cheese sandwiches, burgers, and many more options. The variety in the food is astounding and they give you very good potions with plenty of meat. Their coffee drinks are quite good as well! The service is also fantastic. Everyone that works at Lords Bagels is very friends and they do a fantastic job of making customers feel welcome. The atmosphere in the restaurant cannot be beat either.

I hope I get to heaven today because it cost me a good donation at lords bagel. Close to $18 for a soda and bagel sandwich should have cost a few dollars less… First the bagel is nothing to rave about. It has no crust, the everything seems to be missing the garlic and salt ? The chicken on Elizabeth Cousin was dry I would compare it to a thin sliced Perdue cutlet nothing great. The sandwich came with three pickle slices and about 2 oz of coleslaw. Overall I give it two stars for food. The cashier was friendly, didn’t offer any suggestions. The atmosphere was clean so that was a plus. Not many places to choose from in the area that offers great food but I feel for the money this should have been a bit better all around. I don’t mind paying premium but I would expect a premium sandwich. The cost would probably keep me from coming back to this place. I do understand it’s new and with everything else it probably costs them a lot to keep the doors open these days. But as a customer I don’t see this place succeeding long term. I kinda left me wondering if my money really just went to the lord?

This Bagel place doesn’t disappoint. Sometimes it gets busy( due to their time of being open to close) but I’d say it’s well worth it. If you order online, use “toast”, you’d get $5 off (it’s a point system) which you get for purchasing everytime , it’s seamless to use. When going to the store, everyone is nice there, courteous and professional. I was looking for a bagel shop that met/meets my expectations & this one does meet my expectations. You won’t regret coming to this one( if you are looking for one). I can’t say that I’ve tried everything but what I usually get, it doesn’t disappoint . Spending can go from $5(and up), it depends on what you get

So airy and light with plenty of seating and space! The staff was so kind and attentive and my egg everything bagel was dreamy. I loved the yucca cheese balls, too! I also appreciated there was a bathroom. This place is really lovely and I hope to be back. I’m not very religious but I certainly felt a little holy when I got the very last egg everything bagel!!
