Crema's Take

This family-owned Thai spot in Bakersfield has mastered the art of the specialty beverage alongside their bold, generous plates—their Thai iced coffee and tea are crafted with real care, and they've even added creative touches like a standout green tea latte that keeps people coming back. The streamlined to-go model means you're getting authentic, flavorful food fast (generous portions included), making it the perfect spot to grab something memorable when you're in a hurry but don't want to compromise on quality. There's a warm, genuine hospitality here that comes through in every review, with owners who clearly put thought into both their food and drinks.

Excellent food! Pad See Ewe, and Pork Fried rice were both very tasty. The Thai iced tea and coffee were also refreshing and perfectly made. It definitely is a family owned business, and the food reflects that style. 5 stars.

This was an interesting restaurant. It seems to be dedicated to to-go orders. But they’re really slow. The restaurant only has five tables. And the food is very bland compared to most Thai places I’ve been to. The place is very clean, but all the dishes come out in to-go plates. The food itself is cooked to perfection, even the rice is perfect, but it just doesn’t have any flavor.

Delicious family owned restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food is! I ordered the beef khao soi and chicken drunken noodles. The green tea latte was so yummy too. Give this place a try, it's a great place, especially if you want authentic Thai food!

First, an important note: this is a soft opening, and the family who runs this place is clearly still working out the kinks. With that in mind, consider this a preliminary review meant to help both potential customers and the owners as they continue developing their restaurant. Atmosphere: We were a bit surprised when we walked in, we expected a sit-down restaurant, not an order-at-the-counter setup. That said, we were immediately greeted with genuine excitement. It was clear they were delighted to have us, and being among their first visitors felt special. Service: Because this is an order-at-the-counter spot, you shouldn’t expect full table service. Still, the owners’ warmth more than made up for that. The young man who took our order was enthusiastic and kind, and our food came out quickly. Food: This was the highlight. Everything we tried was delicious, the noodles especially were flavorful and satisfying. The menu is small at the moment, but I imagine it will grow as they settle in and refine their offerings. Overall: A great little place with tons of potential. I’ll likely return for takeout or a casual lunch, though probably not for a sit-down dinner. I encourage others to give it a try, your support will help this family-run restaurant continue to establish itself and grow.
