Cafe An'Clair
826 Thomas St, Seattle, WA
Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused Seattle gem has mastered the art of customizable matcha lattes and consistently excellent coffee, with baristas who actually ask how sweet you'd like your drink. Their pastries and breakfast items avoid the sugar-bomb trap—think crispy-outside, soft-inside blueberry scones and delicate financiers—making An'Clair feel like a place that respects both your palate and your morning. It's a bright, efficient spot perfect for a quick grab before work, where quality and thoughtfulness clearly matter more than cozy ambiance.”

I’ve been coming here for over 6 months, and I really appreciate the consistency of their matcha lattes. They allow you to customize your sweetness and have many options such as honey, agave, vanilla, etc. It’s a great grab and go place! Seating can be difficult to find and tables are limited.
The lattes here are great and they ask you the level of sweetness you’d like. The financier pastries are a nice treat and also don’t taste as if they were loaded with sugar. I had the turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was delicious! The staff always welcomes you and they also say goodbye when you leave. Atmosphere is pretty chill.
Got an iced vanilla latte with a blueberry scone. The scone is pretty good, it’s not super sweet and has a nice crispy exterior but soft inside. Iced vanilla latte is good, the espresso has a good flavor profile too it, but was slightly too sweet from the vanilla. Overall, pretty good!
Great spot for a quick well prepared coffee and tasty breakfast sandwich! Baked goods are a top notch experience. Freindly quick service fairly priced. No disappointments here, not one. They know their business!
Café an’ Claire is a great little coffee shop on the first floor of a building. The place is nice and wide open, although it’s not what I would call cozy or intimate. It’s more of us sterile, corporate feel, but they do have seating inside and outside it’s really nice. The do offer specialty drinks which I really like and I ordered the Spanish latte. It was really good. They said you can order half, 3/4 or whole sweet depending on your sweetness level. I would imagine you could even go below that. The breakfast sandwich was excellent. I had the egg and cheese on a brioche bun and it was great. The staff is great and extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend!
