Crema's Take

Regular NYC is a cozy neighborhood gem that takes both coffee and breakfast seriously, with espresso-forward drinks like their celebrated maple oat milk latte sitting comfortably alongside generously portioned French toast and creative pastries that keep people coming back. The intimate space feels like a living room where regulars and visitors alike are welcomed warmly by staff who actually seem happy to be there, making it the kind of place where you linger over your cup rather than rush through. Skip the viral pancake lines elsewhere and come here instead—you'll get equally craveable food, genuinely good coffee, and the kind of unhurried morning experience that actually makes you want to stay.

I ordered the French toast and it tasted amazing. The serving size was huge, I came in hungry but still couldn’t manage to finish it. The ambiance is really nice and cozy and the staff were welcoming and efficient!

Great food and drinks, the food was so delicious that we ordered again 😋 The service was super kind and very friendly. I would definitely recommend you to come here if you’re visiting New york. We had to wait a bit for our table because it was a bit full but around the cafe are huge skyscrapers which look amazing. Very comfortable seats and nice music. We will come back on our next visit 😃😃😃

I wanted to try the Golden diner in Manhattan for their viral pancakes, but the two hour wait what is it worth missing my flight back to Florida, maybe next time I was searching what other breakfast spot I can eat at real quick that was good and Regular NYC came up The music was cool, The scenery was cozy, let’s talk about the food French toast with mascarpone was delicious, the lemon zest on top brang out the sweetness of the cheese more, French toast was cooked beautifully, the blackberries gave a subtle tart, the candied pear was nice as well, there was a small dash of thyme which this is my first time experience of fresh herb on a sweet type of plate, but it made a lot of sense and inspired me to be more open to that combination, love, thinking outside the box! The pistachio cream I can tell they made from scratch versus getting the jarred crap, they do toast the pistachio a little extra, but I liked it because it gave me a toasty peanut butter type of taste, and was a wonderful addition to the plate The ham cheese egg croissant was delicious, flaky, and a generous amount of ham as you can see with some cheese as well, I enjoyed this, but the trick is to eat this with the avocado toast! If you don’t like spice, then avoid those small sliced chili peppers because they do pack a punch, but I was happy with this breakfast that we had and if you ever in the area, feel free to check them out, you can tell everything they make is with love and I appreciate that which is why I always reviews the small businesses that put effort, their rating is well earned

We walked to Regular NYC from our hotel and really enjoyed it! It’s a small, cozy spot with great coffee and food. I had the maple oat milk latte, which was delicious, and we shared a Reuben sandwich on toasted sourdough and a chicken salad sandwich — both were excellent. The server was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the pricing wasn’t bad for New York City. A great find for breakfast or lunch in the city!

Regular NYC is such a gem of a breakfast spot right by my apartment. It might be on the smaller side, but it's cozy and welcoming. The staff is so friendly, and Francesca, my server, was absolutely lovely—warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. I tried the avocado toast, and it was perfect—just the right hint of spice, the flavors were exquisite, and the toast itself was done perfectly. The coffee is also fantastic, rich and smooth, making it the perfect pairing for breakfast. The place is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the convenience of having it right in my neighborhood makes it even better. Definitely a go-to spot for great breakfast and coffee!
