The Cellar

Ecstatic Hour really had us ecstatic — great, kind service from the bartender. We got the food we ordered super quick, too. The sidewinder potatoes and sliders and cheese plate and brussel sprouts (we basically turned happy hour into dinner) — all incredible tasty. What do they put on those potatoes?! So good!

Looking for a light lunch with a beer. Nice place in San Clemente. They had charcuterie boards and the burger was pretty much fire. Nice selection of beer but if you are into wine they have you covered. (Can pair with multiple cheeses and meats.) Outside street dining as well as indoor booths and bar.

As a local, this is hands-down our favorite spot to frequent. We come weekly for their coffee and brunch. Their burger for dinner is also delicious! Their service, food and ambiance is always consistently wonderful. Whether you sit inside or out, you won’t be disappointed with their charming, good vibes. Cole is usually our server, and he always is attentive and friendly. Highly recommend their breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich and any of their coffees (smooth, but rich in flavor)!

One of my all-time favorite San Clemente restaurants! The truffle popcorn on the dinner menu is so good you’ll want to order seconds. And the cheese boards are simple but exquisite. Sitting in their outside patio on a lovely California day drinking a Hugo Spritz in the sunshine is my definition of a perfect time in this little beach town. Absolutely check it out- you won’t be disappointed!

Ended up grabbing a table at this restaurant on a very busy Mother’s Day. While most restaurants turned us down for no reservation and no walk-ins on special days, The Cellar was very happy to accommodate us on their pet friendly patio. Food was great and reasonably priced. I had the burrata and beet salad and I really enjoyed it. Staff and customers were equally friendly.
