Crema's Take
“This downtown Chicago bakery cafe wins you over with a retro-nostalgic atmosphere complete with neon signs and glass cases of genuinely excellent pastries—the chocolate croissants and house-made cheesecake bars are legitimately worth the trip. The coffee is solid and the staff genuinely friendly, though the pastry line can back up during peak hours, so go early or grab a seat and settle in rather than expecting a quick grab-and-go experience. It's the kind of place that works equally well for a lingering breakfast with family or a solo coffee-and-treat moment between meetings.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, quick-grab, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Dog friendly. Family friendly. Parking available.

Solid coffee with a good selection of pastries. Staff were friendly but at the time of visiting the pastry staff were very backed up. Ended up having to wait close to 10 minutes just to get a croissant.
