Coffee Republic Matthews

Absolute 10/10 coffee shop!! I love the people and Taylor is super super sweet! I went to starbucks all the time but I decided to try this one day and I never went back. This place is amazing, I don’t drink coffee but my family says it’s the best, now the chai tea lattes on the other hand I do enjoy and they are SPECTACULAR. Love it!

I come here regularly and always have lovely exchanges with the staff. Liam usually makes my coffee and I enjoy our weekly exchanges of which of the two flavors I will get that day. But some days are busier than others and at times are understaffed and there is one person making 10 drinks that aren’t simple. Some days I’ll wait for my coffee, some days I will not depending on who is working.

I have really enjoyed morning coffees at Coffee Republic. They make a killer iced caramel latte! As a coffee enthusiast myself, I can attest to the level of detail the barista staff puts into their craft and the customer experience as a whole. I also work with Kalea on some of their locations for waste service. She is incredibly kind, a great communicator, and has a wonderful vision for the local Charlotte coffee scene! Check them out if you haven't already; you will be glad you did!

This coffee shop is great! We didn't get any food but the coffee (iced salty dog) and smoothie (mango) was good. The employee was very nice and was helpful in what we wanted. Very nice little quiet place to just sit and drink coffee and use their Wi-Fi. Totally recommend this coffee shop.

I wanted it to be good. We were very hungry. The salty dog was good, but London fog had no vanilla flavor at all. Just earl grey loud as all. The breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich were terrible. Dried out. The folks working were all very sweet. Things took awhile. The place smelled like cleaning products (we were there in the morning, maybe it takes a moment to air out?)
