Berkeley Perk Cafe
69 Berkeley St, Boston, MA
Crema's Take
“Berkeley Perk Cafe is a beloved Beacon Hill neighborhood staple that serves up some of Boston's best drip coffee alongside killer breakfast sandwiches and creative omelets, all at prices that feel genuinely fair. The vibe strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine pit stop and a welcoming spot to linger over conversation, with a friendly crew (Jimmy's a local favorite) and a playlist that keeps things feeling alive and genuine. Whether you're after their legendary drip coffee or arriving early to snag a bowl of their soup, this is the kind of community coffee shop that makes you understand why people wish there were more places like it.”

One of the best Cafes in Boston offering such a variety of sandwiches, coffee etc. It is a neighborhood gem with great prices. Service is fast and friendly while you enjoy breakfast or lunch in a unique atmosphere.
Love this place -- best drip coffee in the city, and Jimmy is always great with the service. I wish there were more community staple coffee shops like this. I love coming for the great food and coffee, but it's really the nostalgia and atmosphere that makes Berkeley Perk so unique! Never change -- we love you, Berkeley Perk!
Wide variety of tasty sandwiches and omelettes. Friendly and accommodating. Reasonable prices. Get there early if you want their soup. It was my go to place when I was staying nearby on a recent trip.
Incredible sandwiches, friendly environment, and fun music. I love stopping in here for a weekday lunch. Also really enjoy their breakfast sandwiches. A lot of places don't cook the bacon well, but Berkeley Perk does it just right.
I love it! Berkeley Perk Cafe in Boston's Beacon Hill is a nice little spot to grab a bite. My husband and I stopped by recently and had a good experience with both the food and the service. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel sandwich, and it was very good. The salmon tasted fresh, and they were generous with the portion, which was great. I had mine with capers and onion, no tomato, and the combination was just right. My husband tried the Merinda's Bagel Sandwich, and the avocado added a nice touch to it. For drinks, we got a drip coffee and a pumpkin latte. The latte was delicious, with a rich flavor. The drip coffee was warm rather than hot, but it wasn't a big deal since the sandwiches were the highlight of our visit and they were very tasty. The service was quick and the staff was friendly, making for a pleasant visit. If you're in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, it's a solid place to check out for a good sandwich.
