Crema's Take

This beloved Mill Valley neighborhood spot excels at what it does best: exceptional pastries and baked goods that justify the morning crowds, from genuinely flaky croissants to standout seasonal creations like their caramel apple braid. The picturesque setting and inviting outdoor seating make it an ideal spot to linger with a perfectly balanced specialty drink like their London Fog, though the coffee itself plays a supporting role to the real star of the show. It's the kind of early-morning destination that fills up within minutes on a weekday, beloved by locals for its consistently fresh, well-made baked goods and quality ingredients.

10 min walk from our lovely airbnb in Mill Valley is this great bakery. Went there around 8:15 am and it was already busy on a Monday morning which was great to see. We had 2 pastries and a baguette along w a hot chocolate and it was all very good!

The maple blueberry muffin was the best muffin I’ve ever had and I am not generally overly effusive in my reviews. The London Fog was also perfectly balanced, not too sweet with the earl grey coming through nicely. Also kudos to the baker for the perfect rings on the croissant! It was pretty crowded so I might aim for a weekday next time.

We had this amazing caramel apple braid. It was the perfect fall mid-afternoon treat. The bakery is located on a very picturesque street.

Came early morning and within 5 mins the shop was full. The chocolate croissant is beautiful, crunchy exterior. The latte was okay. The sourdough was great, drove to a nearby creamery and got cheese to pair with the bread.
