Crema's Take

Nestled in historic Lexington Market, Black Acres Roastery is a coffee lover's destination where thoughtfully roasted beans shine through in both classic espresso and rotating pour-over selections. Their baristas are genuinely invested in quality and hospitality, whether you're ordering a quick shot or settling in, and they're not afraid to get creative—their house-made pumpkin spice syrup is the stuff of legend. With consistently excellent coffee and a warm atmosphere, this spot feels like a genuine neighborhood gem rather than just another coffee counter.

Great specialty coffee in Lexington market. They have really nicely roasted beans and have a nice rotating pour over menu. Had a light roast anaerobic ethiopian coffee that was very good. Definitely can recommended grabbing a coffee or a bag of beans.

Hands down THE BEST pumpkin spice latte I've ever had!!! The pumpkin spice syrup was homemade and you could definitely taste the natural ingredients. The service was great too. I will return for my coffee fix when visiting Lexington Market again.

Black Acres Roastery is an absolute gem for coffee lovers. Their coffee is consistently excellent. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or settling in with a pour-over, the quality never disappoints. What really makes this place stand out are the baristas. They’re awesome! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and always make you feel welcome. You can tell they’re passionate about what they do and happy to share recommendations or chat about the beans and brewing process.

Really good and deliciously well done coffee. Nice spot as well! Kind and nice people working there too. Will be back next time I’m in Baltimore. Breakfast sandwich was 👌

The two Baristas were so friendly and did their best to understand my order and accommodate me. The coffee was incredibly fresh and tasty. It was bold in flavour. The market itself looks nice, but is taken over by a lot of people who aren't even shopping, so it ruins the flow of traffic a little bit. But overall, I loved it.
