Crema's Take

The tres leches cake board is the real draw here—generous slices of the real deal that keep people coming back—but Scorpio wins you over with genuinely warm staff and a full breakfast spread that justifies a weekend detour from anywhere in Seattle. The vibe is cozy and unhurried, perfect for families and dog-friendly meetups, though the coffee itself is solid rather than exceptional if you're a purist chasing the perfect espresso. Go for the pastries, the atmosphere, and the sense that someone actually cares you showed up.

What to expect

Made our Christmas Day very special! Food and coffee are amazing, people, atmosphere, just everything! Also really appreciate that they allowed our pup with us. Highly recommend to everyone who likes cozy and warm places. We definitely will be back!

Awful waffle and average, at best, Ube Latte. I ate a few bites of the waffle and left. I was excited to try this place based on the reviews. I have no idea who provided the reviews and/or whether they are real.

A morning diner with an incredible spread and atmosphere. If you're a local, I highly recommend this as a Sunday morning spot. If you're traveling (like me), it's a short stop from the U District station and easily the best breakfast you can pick. The owner is a delight and…
