Crema's Take
“Tucked on Monmouth in Newport, this espresso-focused café strikes that perfect balance between serious coffee craft and welcoming neighborhood gathering spot, with baristas who treat both your cappuccino and your comfort with equal care. Beyond expertly pulled shots, they're equally known for their creative breakfast and lunch—think thoughtfully composed sandwiches like their Pig and Pear grilled cheese with fig jam and arugula—all made with the same attention to flavor that goes into their drinks. The vibe is calm and unpretentious, with plenty of seating and a genuinely helpful staff that makes families, solo coffee drinkers, and groups of friends all feel at home.”

Tried this place this morning, and I must say it did not disappoint. The staff had friendly faces and the atmosphere was nice. The food was flavorful, seasoned well, and nicely presented, and yes, I will be going back. I highly recommend trying it at least once.
Stopped here before going to the aquarium and WOW it exceeded my expectations. I ordered the Pig And Pear grilled cheese- bacon, cheese, fig jam, pears and arugula. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best thing I’ve ever tasted. And the iced lattes were just as good! Really wish I lived closer, as I would go here nearly every day.
Had a really nice breakfast here while in town visiting family. It’s a nice calm and fun atmosphere with plenty of seating and helpful staff. You order up front and then they tell you where to sit. The food was very nice - it’s good comfort food. I had the southwest bowl which tasted great. If you don’t like a lot of cheese tell them to go light. I was surprised at how much shredded cheese they covered the top with. The biscuit tasted nice and was light and flaky. Their jam isn’t really jam - it’s like a runny compote. It tastes nice. Overall a nice experience. I’d definitely go back. Also a side note they have several veggie “meat” options which was nice to see.
We were looking for someplace to grab some breakfast before our grocery shopping. Press is on Monmouth and a Cafe so that works. I was able to get a burger and walk a few blocks for a Monster. The burger was really good (I like sandwiches for breakfast). If you order a coffee you'll need to pick it up at the counter. The cashier taking your order seats you. Just barely under $20 each for us to eat.
Stopped in randomly for the first time on a Saturday. We came around brunch time so it was pretty busy, but we still got our food very quickly! We ordered a few different things to try from their menu as well as a couple coffees. Everything turned out excellent, and we were super happy and full when we left our table. We would definitely come back! Highly recommend their iced coffees, they are waffles, and biscuits and gravy! You order at the counter and get a number. Food will be brought to your table! Very easy and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
