Mokafe Coffee House

Enjoyed 4wks over Christmas & NY looking after my sons dogs & visited this great coffee shop most days as was situated under the apartments. Bright & spacious with large seating area indoors & out (covered) alongside excellent coffee & sweet treats makes it well worth a visit as well as the welcoming staff, particularly Angie who unfortunately wasn’t working the day I left but hopefully will catch up next time I’m over😍 Highly recommend!!

The atmosphere, customer service & FOOD was amazing 🤩. Rasheed was so personable & had great recommendations. Mariam was so sweet & pleasant! It was so many lunch & breakfast options but I choose the beef bacon sandwich , home fries & worlds famous match with caramel & strawberry ! 10/10 !!!

feels like a warm hug. The atmosphere is cozy, with soft lighting and a perfect playlist that makes it ideal for working or catching up with a friend. I ordered a cold brew . The cold brew was expertly crafted, perfectly balanced, easily one of the best I've had. Service was quick and genuinely friendly i was served by Marcel she was too friendly. If you're looking for a great coffee spot with lovely ambiance and excellent baked goods, this is a must-visit.

We were dissapointed when we visited for Brunch yesterday. It was not very busy but it took quite a while to be able to place an order, and dissapointed to be seeved barely room temperature food. First, service staff needs improvement. It was difficult to get attention of hostess or waiter to finally place an order. Then our drinks came out about 30 minutes before our food!! We could see the drinks on the counter but it took them over 10 minutes to bring it to our table. While the taste of the Brown Sugar Latte and Maple Latte were good, we had to drink it at room temperature! Food service was a huge issue. We could see the food come out by the kitchen windows and we saw our server stop by and pass by it several times!! I tried to catch his attention but he looked away. When we did receive our food, it was room temperature to almost cold. This made no sense!! I wanted to complain but again couldn't get a hold of waiter. Taste of Chicken was good but wish we had it hot! At room temp the chicken texture and waffle wasn't great but dense. Avocado toast was okay and French Toast was good. I had to ask twice for syrup on the side as well as water. We had a limited time and we're just frustrated because we had to leave so just got most of the food to go. Wait staff should be attentive or at the least provide basic service when you are charging automatic gratuity. Please improve service and if food is served hot, it would be more enjoyable.

Made a trip from NY just for this cafe and it was well worth it. The restaurant is spacious and the decor is beautiful. Everything we ordered was amazing. Very reasonable prices for large portions and great service. My group had an amazing time here. It’s hard not to list everything we got but here goes; my favorites were the hummus, ceasar salad, mushroom truffle pizza and the chicken & waffles. For the latte flights there was pistachio, Nutella, biscoff and caramel. Some of the flavors were too sweet for me it was fun to share and try because their drinks were quite large which I appreciated. My group was so full coming out of here I wish I had room to try some of their bakery goods. The pistachio croissant looked scrumptious, I’ll have to come back to try it.
