Crema's Take

Bluestem Bistro's real strength is its uncommonly robust breakfast menu—full hot plates rather than the pastry-and-toast routine you'd expect from a coffee shop—plus a genuinely inviting outdoor patio that makes it worth lingering over a second cup. The coffee itself is solid (especially the espresso martinis, weirdly enough), the pastries are reliably good, and the vibe attracts a mix of people actually working and actually socializing, which is rare. Just know the breakfast quality can be inconsistent, so stick with their classic items rather than experimenting.

What to expect

Specialty coffee. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

Very cute outdoor seating with uncomfortable chairs. I didn't really like the latte we got but the espresso martini was lovely. Great place to sit and work or just hang out.
