Urban Leaf Cafe
182D Kingsland St, Lyndhurst, NJ
Crema's Take
“Urban Leaf Cafe is a beloved neighborhood spot in Lyndhurst where owners Michelle and Victor have mastered the art of creative bubble tea and light bites. Their signature drinks like mango milk tea and strawberry sakura milk tea strike a perfect balance between flavor and sweetness, often paired with indulgent items like chocolate waffles and spam musubi that keep regulars coming back after years away. While the experience is consistently warm and service-minded, they'd benefit from elevating their plating to match the quality of their thoughtful beverage creations.”
What to expect
Strong matcha and tea selection, with creative signature drinks. Quick-grab spot. Light food on the menu.

This review is not on the cafe itself because I have never been, but I went to the APPI’s lantern festival in Montclair. Urban leaf cafe had a stand with some food (an assortment of cake pops, onigiri, doughnuts, boba, etc). But they also had pokemon sugar cookie tins. As…
Have visited many times over the years and they’re always great. Good bubble tea, good food and really friendly staff. Love the fun merch they sell too (well, the kids do haha) which makes it even more fun to visit. Highly recommend the taro!!
Got a thai tea here, and had probably one of the poorer thai bubble teas I've ever had. Completely watered down, and the pearls seemed to taste like rubber. They also weren't cooked in the brown sugar syrup like I'd normally expect. Service was decent though, and ambiance was…
sooooo good!! got a mango milk tea with tapioca pearls and a chocolate indulgence bubble waffle, both of which tasted great and not over sweetened. relatively quick service and polite staff. they also had lots of cool anime, Pokémon, and kpop merch for sale which was a cool…
I came by today after not visiting for about 3 years, and I’m so happy to say it’s still just as good as I remember! I ordered the strawberry sakura milk tea and spam musubi. Both were delicious and made fresh. The cafe was quiet, which made it a relaxing spot to enjoy my food.…
While food may have been so so, the way they serve you is very poor. A place like this should be serving on dishes and not a half hand cut to-go plastic takeout container. What a turn-off. The Taro drink tasted more like milk, no flavor and the Chocolate drink tasted like nestle…
