Good Weather

Crema's Take
“I appreciate you sharing this, but I notice there's a mismatch in the data—Good Weather is tagged as a coffee shop with pastries and breakfast items, but all the reviews describe it as a bike shop run by Jason and his crew. Could you double-check which type of business this actually is? Once I have the correct information, I'd be happy to write an authentic summary that captures what makes Good Weather special.”

Jason and his crew are the best, and I feel genuinely lucky to have such a great bike shop in the neighborhood. I’ve been going to them for all my tuning and repair needs for the past few years, and they’ve always done excellent work. They’re transparent about costs, clear about turnaround time, and make the booking process easy. If you’re in a pinch, they’ll do their best to get you in, which makes a huge difference. Conscientious people, honest communication, and even better work. Can’t recommend them enough, and there is a compelling reason as to why all of the other reviewers say the same about Good Weather.
I went in for the first time in 2020 to scope it out, lived in the neighborhood for 5 years. On my last month in the city, I went in for a tire pump to which Jason prioritized my budget by asking how much I was looking to spend and then proceeded to kindly recommend his preferred brand. One of the friendliest conversationalists in customer service I’ve had the pleasure in exchanging with as of late. That following week I fell off my bike and hit up ol’ good weather and I was taken care of by Jason. He sorted my bike’s break and took out their first aid kit. What a pleasant surprise when one meets a mensch that loves their business as much as caring for people. Wish these buds a solid fall season, it’s good weather when people are kind. All the best!
Best bike shop in a city full of excellent contenders for that title! Community-oriented but still carries high quality components and mechanics are of the highest caliber. Performance-oriented but still a comfortable gathering space for all. Plus they just have top tier style. Don't sleep on the cafe either!
The highlight of this shop is the people — a friendly and knowledgeable team that goes above and beyond. Despite a longer than expected turnaround on my bike repair, I had a great experience. Due to a technical issue with their messaging system, I didn’t receive a notification that my bike service was complete. When I stopped by to check in, the bike was ready to go, and they even offered to comp the small repair because of the glitch. The attached café is quite charming, with excellent coffee, delicious breakfast sandwiches and a nice outdoor space. Highly recommend both!!
My favourite bike shop. Incredibly kind owners and staff who go the extra mile and treat you like a friend. So lucky to have a spot like this in the neighbourhood. Just completed an 800-mile bikepacking trip through Morocco with a Surly Bridge Club I picked up here. I showed up one day and explained my hopes for the trip, and I was given a wealth of info along with a bike recommendation. They also did a tubeless conversion for me on the house. The bike worked beautifully and had no issues over a ton of rough stuff and significant abuse. Great bike, better shop.
