Anchorhead Coffee - CenturyLink Plaza
1600 7th Ave, Seattle, WA
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside CenturyLink Plaza, Anchorhead has cultivated a devoted following with thoughtfully crafted espresso drinks and pour overs that keep people coming back, though quality can be inconsistent. The warm, beautifully decorated space strikes that rare balance of being welcoming for lingering over coffee or grabbing something quick during a busy workday, and their pastry selection pairs perfectly with whatever you order. Fair warning: arrive early or after the morning rush if you want to actually sit down, as this spot has earned genuine popularity among Seattle's downtown coffee crowd.”

The coffee was underwhelming. There isn’t much else to say wthe overall experience felt below average and could definitely be improved. This location seems to primarily cater to a fast-paced, working downtown Seattle crowd, which shows in how quickly everything moves. However, there’s a lot of room for improvement for guests who choose to stay and enjoy their coffee. The visit met my basic need to be caffeinated, but unfortunately didn’t satisfy my desire for high-quality coffee.
Coffee was good, decor was great with Christmas decors, pastries were delicious, and service is friendly. This coffee shop is inside an office building so I didn't have much expectations. I always see a line of tourists so decided to try it! It did not disappoint. Coffee was well roasted and had deep flavors. The cheddar dill scones had the salty and savory flavors. The morning muffin had a good mix of carrots, raisins, nuts, and some seeds. It felt sweet when I bit into it because it had sugar on top but went well with the coffee. Overall I would definitely come back!
Delicious coffee- very popular spot! I first tried to go at 9am and it was packed! I went back at 11:30 and there was no wait I love the decor here- the colors and theme is so great! My latte was pretty solid - rich with just a touch of citrus on the end of the sip. The service was excellent! Certainly a good experience and I would certainly return - they have a good number of refrigerated items & coffee to brew yourself which you can purchase as well! There’s a moderate amount of seating inside & a number of places outdoors if the weather is favorable.
First time here. The cashier was very sweet and helpful. She recommended iced tangerine caramel latte and the iced blackberry caramel latte. Both very delicious. The shop was quaint but a bit small. We sat outside which was perfect because it was beautiful weather.
My wife was really excited about coming here. Came on a Sunday morning around 930. Line was wrapped around the inside. I think there was some type of convention so it was busy. The line moved very fast though. The workers were so nice and seemed happy even tough it was crazy. We both got a hot coffee ; I got a matcha latte and added vanilla syrup which was good. We also got a pastry and a sandwich and they heat it up for you. Very good. There was seating inside and some outside. There is a restroom as well.
