Crema's Take
“The Riverhouse Cafe is a creative breakfast destination where every plate feels thoughtfully crafted, from their famous hangover sandwich to inventive eggs Benedict variations and smoked brisket brunch offerings. The airy, inviting space along the river makes it equally suited for a solo coffee moment or lingering with friends, while their house-made Bloody Mary mix and generous half-portion options show real care for what guests actually want. What keeps people coming back is the combination of talented kitchen work, genuinely friendly service, and that rare quality of feeling both special and comfortably familiar.”

Lots of unique but delicious breakfast items. I had the hangover breakfast sandwich, incredibly filling and just what I needed. Very friendly service. The restaurant itself felt very open (in a very good way!) and had lots of fun art and decor on the walls.
River House cafe is a great choice for breakfast. They have creative dishes and quality food made by talented chefs. Its a place I come back to often because they do lots of breakfast staples such as egg/meat/potato plates and great pancakes, but also some really fun stacks and sammies. For sure a spot I recommend for breakfast on the oval
Good size portions, everything tastes fresh and they even have off street parking on the side of the building. Very inviting, clean and the staff is attentive. Great options for eggs Benedict. There's a bar area that pumps out yummy drinks too.
Headed north about an hour from Worcester to soak in some fall sights & stopped at The Riverhouse Cafe in Milford, NH 🍁 Of course, I had to try their Bloody Mary — made with their own house mix & absolutely delicious. He went with the Farmer’s Bowl loaded with all kinds of meats & topped with rich sausage gravy. I couldn’t decide (no surprise there), so I was thrilled they offer half portions of select dishes! I ended up trying the Eiffel Tower Stack & the Chorizo Bennie — both super fresh, flavorful, & totally hit the spot.
This was a really great Sunday brunch experience. The half order options on many things on the menu is just great (kudos to the management on this ingenious idea). We got the smoked brisket (fantastic), the riverside Benny (great), the farmer (flavorful), apple cinnamon pancake (so good!), the pig pile (was okay, but paled in comparison to everything else, next time two briskets). Anyway, staff is awesome and I highly recommend!
