Crema's Take

Neighbor Bakehouse's pastries are absurdly good for the price—think laminated croissants with unexpected fillings like pistachio and blackberry, towering Bosocks, and savory bureks that justify a special trip across the city. The rotating selection of artisanal breads and pull-aparts makes this feel less like a neighborhood coffee shop and more like a serious bakery that happens to serve excellent espresso drinks. Come early, bring patience for parking, and plan to stay for at least one pastry with your coffee.

Hard to find parking but the pastries are incredible!!! Big fan of the spicy potato burek, pistachio blackberry croissant (a bit sweet but still amazing), and their pull apart savoury bread. Service is always pretty quick considering there’s a line every time I’ve been.
