Crema's Take
“Tucked inside Memphis's Farmers Market, Café Cordova charms with genuine specialty coffee beans and a refreshingly clean space where the staff greets you like regulars. Beyond espresso, they've built a loyal following around creative signatures like their Mini Taiyaki and fruit-forward drinks such as mango fruit tea made with fresh fruit, though consistency with pastries and drink execution seems to vary. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where you can grab your coffee while you shop, and the best visits celebrate their core strength: quality beans and warm hospitality.”

I visited Café Cordova and was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered a coconut milk tea, expecting a delicious blend of coconut, milk, and tea, but unfortunately, my drink lacked the crucial tea component. When I asked the barista about it, they confirmed that the beverage did not contain any tea. It was frustrating to spend nearly $6 for what essentially amounted to flavored milk with tapioca, as I had been looking forward to a genuine coconut milk tea experience. I believe the drink should have been advertised more clearly to avoid such misunderstandings. The café itself had a nice ambiance, and the staff was polite, but the overall experience left me wanting. I hope the café can improve its beverage labeling and descriptions in the future to prevent similar mix-ups for other customers.
I totally Love, Love this Cafe shop inside the Farmers Market! The best (real) coffee beans and the area is always very clean. You walk up to the counter the ladies greet you with a friendly especially the lady "Brenda" she's an expert in mixing perfectly. I drive out the way to this location. I order several drinks one for the day and place the other in the freezer for the following day :) Keep up the great work. Thanks Gigi
So the drink was alright, no complaints there. But I was very disappointed with those damn custard fishies —super soggy, tasted gross, way too hot. & the placement of this cafe was confusing at first because I had no idea it was inside of a grocery store. I was obviously lost but trying not to be annoying about it to the locals, and I could tell the workers were not havin’ it lol. I hesitated asking for help with all the open hostility everywhere, especially at this cafe. It was pretty clear no one wanted to be there but me; siiike I would have gone anywhere else if it wasn’t the only boba shop nearby. I hate to whine about it like that but mutual respect will benefit us both, just sayin :)
We love their Mini Taiyaki with red beans and cream flavor. Their hot chocolate is good as well.
This is a boba shop within a grocery store! I was able to order and drink my boba while I shopped. The tapioca pearls were perfect! I highly recommend the mango fruit tea! It’s made with fresh mango with mango purée and topped with pieces of mango too!
