I am by no means anything like a New Yorker, but I am a man who loves bagels, and this was one of the better ones I’ve had. You know when you eat too fast and your stomach hurts afterwards? That was my situation here. Excellent options, excellent bagels made in house and great drinks. It combines both Italian and Jewish bakery concepts and the result shines through. Only con is parking is rough, but you can be in and out in thirty minutes, and the bagel is worth it.

First time coming here we were visiting from NY and found this place, I tried their cheddar bagel with Jalapeño cheddar cream cheese with sausage egg and cheese and it was so good and cheesy. Also tried their snickerdoodle iced latte which the cashier recommended and it was delicious. My husband tried the everything bagel with avocado, sausage egg and cheese which was good. It was a little pricey with the two sandwiches, black coffee and iced latte came out to $33

So I ordered delivery and as a former New Yorker there are certain foods I have high expectations of and bagels are one of them. I will say they packaged it very well separating the onion bagels from the others something many other places fail to do. The bagels are the same size you would find in New York and they were very soft and moist. The texture was spot on. The onion bagel was my least favorite as I am unsure what they are using but you don't get the true onion taste it's very off. The cinnamon raisin barely had any raisins but the blueberry was much better. The prices are very reasonable. The classic black and white cookie is a joke. It's basically a mini one bite cookie and not worth the price at all and also isn't fresh. This was very disappointing and should be better described on the website. Overall the bagels are very good and some of the best I have found while in Dallas. I'll be back albeit not for the onion bagel or black and white cookie

This is my third trip to Sclafanis and it was delicious. This time I got an open face bagel with half garden veggie and the other with their seasonal pumpkin cream cheese. Both flavors were delicious (separate of course) . The garden veggie was refreshing and not too overwhelming with onion. The Pumpkin was just the perfect pumpkin flavor mixed with the creamy cream cheese. Highly recommend trying the bagels here and if it’s the fall, try the pumpkin cream cheese.

New Yorkers! This is the spot! Insanely huge portions. Like you will never complain about having enough. My bagel felt as dense and heavy as a chipotle burrito. Bagels are a soft yet firm texture. Chewy. Doesn’t dry out even when toasted. Perfect. Taste was rich and delicious, this store had a super nice staff and they will customize anything for you. Standard price for a bagel with spread is a little under $7. This is a staple if you’re a bagel lover.
