Crema's Take

Tucked into Cody with a genuinely relaxed vibe, Beta Coffeehouse feels like the kind of place where you can settle in for hours with excellent, carefully prepared coffee and homemade pastries (their gluten-free muffins and quiches are standouts). The owners have created something special here—a dog-friendly space with local art and craft items, fair prices, and a welcoming crew behind the counter who actually make you feel at home whether you're working, meeting a friend, or just need a moment to breathe.

Such a relaxed atmosphere. You can find public parking not too far away. The dog (who i think belongs to the store owner?) was super friendly. Big bonus points. They have green tea, which is my lifeline was called the Green Dragon. It was very nice. Very smooth tasting, gave me the caffeine I needed for an epic drive to Yellowstone. The breakfast burrito was really nice and filling. Lots of meat, cheese, egg, and satiated my appetite.

When I first moved to Cody, I actually really loved this place. I thought their coffee was really delicious and they had gluten-free muffins every time I went there that were really yummy. I don't know what's happened over the past year with that place, but my aunt and my sister bring me gluten-free muffins from there a few times a month. The last two were absolutely terrible. One was supposed to be a blueberry muffin that tasted like it had been made with baking powder and nothing else. It fell apart in my hands and it was disgusting, so I threw it out. Then yesterday my sister brought me another gluten-free muffin from there, and it looked like it was going to be really good, and when I took the first bite, I saw a black, what looked like a pubic hair sticking up out of it that had to be actually pulled out of the muffin. Needless to say, I threw the rest of the muffin out. I do not recommend this place anymore at all. It's clearly a health risk. I have to go take a shower.

I don't have the words for how delicious and relaxing this meal and coffee was. The people are wonderful, the prices are fair (considering how fresh, hot, and well prepared the flavor combinations are) this place was amazing. And to top it off Pudgie the dog is a spirit filled addition to the environment! Thank you Beta C.H. P.S. the zucchini muffin was incredible

I stopped in to Beta 2-days in a row for coffee and a breakfast wrap, and both experiences were perfect. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and welcoming, the food and coffee was very good, and the shop pup was a nice touch. Will go back if ever in Cody again!

If you’re in Cody, definitely stop in this cute coffee house, it’s everything a coffee house should be. Their homemade quiche was AMAZING! Cool books, a lounge area, locally made craft items for sale, games. Loved the decor, the staff, the food, the coffee - all fantastic and very reasonably priced!
