Windsor Mill Tavern
301 Main St Unit C, Windsor, CO
Crema's Take
“Windsor Mill Tavern's grilled chicken risotto is worth ordering even if you're already full—it's that good, and the historic brick-and-beam architecture gives the whole experience a transported-to-another-era feeling that makes it ideal for a special dinner or casual date. The service is consistently warm and attentive, though be aware that portions and pricing have tightened recently, and plates can arrive lukewarm. It's a solid choice if you're after a traditional sit-down meal with gluten-free options in a space that actually has character.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Parking available.

We eat at The Tavern often. We love the food and the service. All of the bartenders are very talented in mixology. We are never disappointed. Tonight Ali and Sophia were our bartenders and they were GREAT! Will definitely go back!

I've never had risotto in my life and I could not stop eating the grilled chicken risotto even after being full. Was absolutely delicious and worth it. Would definitely recommend and will be back again! Our waiter was amazing and the food was even better, compliments to the chef!
Historic structure makes a really fun place to enjoy dinner or drinks. Check out the brick and beams. That old construction just lasts and lasts. How’s the food!? Oh it’s good too! Service was friendly. Good selection of NA’s in addition to all their mixes. Huge patio for the…
