The Albemarle Bakery & Coffee House

I ordered an Americano coffee, and it tasted delicious. Service was fast, from friendly staff. Located in a gorgeous historic home that was turned into a coffee shop. Beautiful upstairs rooms, which are also very quiet. Generous wrap-around entrance porch, with tables and chairs, and a nice view of the peaceful quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking, even during a normal workday. This establishment is a wonderful way to start the morning.

This place is incredible. Drink coffee, get baked goods here. Wisconsin couple here visiting, found this place for a baked good after lunch. Upon entering the shop is immaculate with old but restored design and very cozy. Furthermore, the cinnamon bun was 10/10 and is where I recommend starting for baked goods. The browny was great too, salted caramel topping if that’s your jam. I was also surprised at how good the coffee was. Oftentimes shops do one thing very well. Albemarle bakery does BOTH. I would absolutely return for coffee alone in the future and most definitely baked goods. The staff was very accommodating as well. If I was in town I would make it a point to return here.

This place is a treat. The bacon, egg and cheese bun was ridiculously good. I would go back for that again. My husband got the famous cinnamon roll and it stands up to the hype. The place has a great vibe and fantastic artwork. The size of the coffee was really good and big for its size. Be sure to look down at the fantastic wood work

Walking through the front door was like coming home - warm, welcoming, and lots of baking aromas in the air. Love the huge restored home. The wrap-around porch alone makes you want to sink into a seat and never leave. Happy, welcoming staff. Loved the compact menu - all winners with no fluff. We had a cinnamon roll, scone, and biscuit and all were uniquely delicious. Topped off with a chai tea, this was quite a delightful breakfast.

Recently discovered, this is a gem of a place to come have coffee and a light bite to eat! The folks here are genuinely great to everyone, and they have done an amazing job getting this place open! There is plenty of room to enjoy the company of friends or just by yourself. Huge wrap around porch with seating as well as cozy seating inside! I can't wait to get back by for another cup of coffee and slice of quiche. That cinnamon roll looks like it will be on moist of things to eat next! Cheers, everyone.
