Crema's Take

Nestled in Jersey City, this espresso-focused café imports Julius Meiln coffee from Austria and pairs it with an impressive selection of specialty drinks and matcha tea in an intimate, artfully designed space that feels like a cozy escape. While opinions on their miniature cakes are mixed, the standout experience here is the genuine hospitality—staff take time to walk you through the coffee and tea process, making each visit feel more like a leisurely discovery than a quick caffeine grab. It's the perfect spot to slow down with someone special or settle in solo for an unhurried afternoon.

I am so sorry but the cakes are just not it. There is absolutely no universe in which these cakes should cost as much as they do, tasting as bad as they do. The lavender one tastes like you randomly decided to take a bite out of a bar of soap & then washed it down with a swig of essential oil. I don't care if I "just don't get it," great thank you, I don't want to. Cute place, but please be soooo for real right now. It's just not worth it. They are so gross, each flavor some how worse than the previous one. With each flavor I tried I had a glimmer of hope & then bam, it was still terrible. Save your money I beg, learn from our mistakes.

The place is really cute. The apple pastry was delicious. The tiny cakes were honestly disappointing though. For how much they are, they’re not that good. The flavor of the icing overpowers everything. The cake is very soft.

Delicious treats at extremely reasonable prices - highly recommend a visit. They have a wide coffee/espresso selection and small portioned, sweet treats which were fresh and packed with flavor. Will be my go-to for coffee and afternoon sweets which was missing in this neighborhood.

Very cozy and atmospheric place but a little bit tiny. They have Julius Meiln coffee from Austria. The cakes are just a piece of art with fancy flavor and taste deliciously. Nice experience.
