Strossner's Bakery, Cafe & Deli

The service was excellent. The Cafe and Bakery staff were very pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed a Mediterranean quiche at the cafe, and ended up selecting a random sampling of delights from the bakery to take home to my family and try, as it was the first time at Strossner's. I also got some chicken salad, croissants , and a couple of ready to bake take home meals. All of it ended up being quite tasty. We would definitely go back to try more variety from here. UPDATE: Brought some family in for a 2nd visit, and we're all EXTREMELY PLEASED & DELIGHTED with everything we ate and the wonderful staff!!!!! We're beyond impressed with the superior customer service from Jack, Asia, Lee, and Mr. Strossner, and can say we really felt valued in their friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend the VERY tasty savory and sweet options alike. Something for everyone, and all fantastic!

We use Strossner's every year to create a sheet cake for our annual holiday luncheon, and we also order 200 of their Christmas-decorated sugar cookies to give out to our guests as a sweet treat. Every year, they exceed our expectations with just how beautiful their bakery creations are! The seasonal sugar cookies are absolutely exquisite, and the attention to detail is fantastic. This year, there were over 8 different cookies, each more beautiful than the last. I wish I could give Strossner's higher than five stars! Greenville is so blessed to have a hometown bakery that is so exceptional.

I have been coming to this bakery for over 20 years and it is the BEST bakery in South Carolina. Everything from the cookies, cakes and pastries are as good as they look. You will not be disappointed.

I bought a red velvet for my boy’s birthday about a month ago and for my husband’s birthday a while ago. Both time, everyone was satisfied. Their cake made a special day even more special and I would definitely order again.

I had my mom go into the bakery 10 days in advance to place a custom order for my birthday cake. She spoke directly with someone behind the counter and clearly explained exactly what I wanted — a light, airy, fluffy strawberries and cream layered cake, similar to an angel food or strawberry shortcake-style cake. Everything was discussed in detail to make sure it was right. When my mom went to pick it up, the bakery had no record of the order at all. They threw something together last-minute, and it was obvious. The cake we got was dense, dry, and bland, and tasted like a cheap box mix — completely the opposite of what we asked for. This was supposed to be a special cake for my birthday, and it was honestly embarrassing. Totally unprofessional and disappointing. I won’t be coming back.
