Crema's Take

Tucked away in St. George with a bookstore right next door, The Grind Coffeehouse has built a devoted following for its exceptional espresso drinks and surprisingly stellar Thai tea—regulars rave about how creamy and delicious it is. The space strikes that perfect balance between energizing study spot and cozy gathering place, with genuinely warm staff and an owner who's clearly invested in making every visit feel special, plus their from-scratch pastries like the spiced apple muffin are the kind of thing people actually remember. Whether you're catching up with friends, buckling down with your laptop, or grabbing a breakfast sandwich with chipotle mayo on your way to Brian Head, this feels like the kind of neighborhood gem that makes a community better.

I loved the grind! Phenomenal atmosphere, great people, and I love the owner! The drinks are on point, and it makes a great place to study. The free WiFi helps, and the staff is so friendly. Whenever people are looking for a great coffee shop in cedar city, I always recommend the grind!

This is my FAVORITE place to get Thai tea in Southern Utah. So creamy and delicious! We also love their breakfast sandwiches and we add chipotle mayo, it’s great!! This place is attached to a bookstore as well, the vibe is great. Highly recommend!

The muffins here are amazing! I had the spiced apple muffin — soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. The apple pieces were the perfect texture, not too hard or too soft. I ate most of it before I even thought to take a picture! I also tried the hibiscus iced tea, and it was perfectly refreshing. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Hidden gem before the mountain! Stopped here on the way to Brian Head and wow—what a find. The coffee ☕ was rich, smooth, and clearly brewed with care. Cozy vibes, friendly staff, and the kind of place that makes you want to linger. Definitely the perfect pit stop to fuel up before hitting the slopes winter time or hiking trails spring/summer/fall time. Did I mention the food selection 😉 don't miss the delicious sandwiches and pastries.

This place is a gem! I dropped by here with my girlfriends on the way back from our national park rounds. The staff was incredibly kind and efficient. I followed up with a request and they were nice to accept without missing a beat. The firehouse is YUMMY. My friends liked their oat latte. The Seattle was nice for me! For the sweet tooth craving coffee wise.
