The Daily Grind Coffee & Tea Station
2001 De La Vina St, Santa Barbara, CA
Crema's Take
“The Daily Grind earns serious loyalty for its warm, welcoming staff and genuinely delicious organic coffee alongside standout breakfast items like their legendary El Primo sandwich and fresh pastries. While their espresso consistency could use some fine-tuning, the spacious parking and unhurried atmosphere make it a genuine community gathering spot where regulars keep coming back for both the food and the genuine kindness of the people behind the counter.”

Giant delicious breakfast burrito! Was made quickly, plenty of parking and delicious coffee drinks available
We got 2 iced black coffees and a regular latte, the were all very burnt, we could not drink them. My niece got a hot chocolate and she was happy with hers. We ordered a croissant, it was good but they didn’t offer to warm / toast it for me.
My wife went there while I was having surgery accross the street. She said it was a great experience, the organic coffee was delicious, but she bought me a lemon square and a carrot cake bar. OMG, those were delicious!!! We live in Lompoc, we will definitely drive down to enjoy The Daily Grind. We can also take the pup to the dog park up the street. Winning!
My favorite coffee spot in SB - simply because of the service, and the girls working there were always super sweet and welcoming every time I came in. Also, helped that I worked next door at the Ryu clinic, BUT the smoothies, sandwiches, bagels, legit everything was good every time I went and got something for lunch or breakfast. Have recommended this to anyone who comes to visit Santa Barbara and always hears such good things about them to those I recommend!
𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟓 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬. Can I curse on here? Holy $h*t the El Primo is undoubtedly, one of the greatest sandwiches I’ve ever tasted in my entire entire life. Tender meat, a thick and crunchy French roll with a nice chipotle mayo to round out the flavor – this sandwich hit every spot I needed it to hit. AND on top of that the coffee was really good too – I like the environment had plenty of seating and it was comfortable enough for me to want to spend the afternoon there, but I had things to do. If one should find themselves in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara I cannot recommend this place enough.
