Danish Bakery
731 Front St, Leavenworth, WA
Crema's Take
“This cozy European-style bakery in Leavenworth transports you straight to the continent with authentically crafted pastries like almond kringle and apple strudel, though the selection can feel modest depending on timing. It's a genuine slow-sit kind of place perfect for lingering over coffee and a sweet treat, with reasonable prices that won't break the bank, though be aware they charge a 50-cent card fee and don't have restrooms on-site.”

I really liked this place but wish it was...more. I was really hoping for a bigger selection of baked goods but, for a store of its size, it was lacking in my opinion. We tried the cinnamon bread and it was very good. Pretzel was OK. Coffee was fantastic! And, shockingly affordable. Worth stopping in but don't expect a huge variety.
This Danish bakery in Leavenworth was absolutely wonderful and instantly reminded me of the European bakeries I used to visit while living there. The pastries were delicious, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Everything tasted authentic. I loved this bakery and would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Leavenworth! ❤️
Almond Kringle Slices tastes decent! Note they charge 50cents for any credit or debit card (and no Amex) Btw they don’t have restroom.
I stopped by for a sweet treat after my lunch at the Munchen Haus and was a little disappointed. It was a little busy and I wanted to try a piece of apple strudel with a cannoli, a almond kringle, and a pretzel. The bakery has a large selection of Danish pastries, apple turnover, cinnamon bread, Bavarian waffles, and much more. The pretzel tasted like a big piece of soft bread and was bland. The chocolate cannoli had nice taste to it and was very good. The apple strudel was a little sweet and the filling was soft. The almond kringle had a nice balance of flavors. You will also find a large coffee menu, speciality drinks, Italien soda, and other drinks. Located on Front Street in Leavenworth near the Munchen Haus. The bakery has a large selection of baked goods that are not great, but average with friendly service and a nice location.
Everything we bought was really good. The prices were really reasonable I thought, especially as everything is getting more and more expensive. I read some of the other reviews and yeah they could put more cream in some of the rolls but you still get plenty for what you get. The pretzel was warm tasted good, cheese sauce tasted good. I would go again.
