I’ve made it a goal to try all of the coffee shops in Kailua since moving here 1.5 years ago and this was my last stop. And honestly, I think I saved the best for last. The taste and quality of the espresso was heavenly. I got an iced latte, with their one and only syrup offering (different than all other coffee shops, however this place really seems to focus on the flavor of the coffee itself, which I appreciate), and topped it with cold foam. The latte was just so amazing. Most coffee shops put so much milk and/or syrup into a latte that it completely overpowers the espresso and just tastes like you’re drinking sugar milk. I know a lot of people like that, but I actually like tasting my espresso, so this place was perfect! My order (with no tip, because they do not accept them) was $9.95. I was a little shocked at the size of my to go cup, as it was the teeniest cup of coffee I’ve ever paid for, but when I tasted it, I decided it was worth it. It’ll just have to be a rare treat since I definitely wanted to go back in immediately and buy another because I wanted more.
Wonderful gourmet coffee shop just like in Japan! Pour over was delicious, matcha cheesecake tasty and not too sweet. Staff were friendly and very polite. A little slice of Japan in Kailua.

So carefully prepared matcha drink: freshness, weight, temperature - everything thoughtfully measured. Desserts: so delicious, not over sweetened, fresh, very balanced taste Staff: very friendly and attentive Place: modern, wood, greens, no loud music, but relaxing with new furniture in a shade
A gem! The best espresso in Hawai’i and the best ceremonial grade matcha I have ever tried. The matcha basque cake was also a traer, with its subtle taste and creamy texture. The love, artistry and mastery of theñ craft is infused in every product and detail of this lovely place.
Probably one of the most lovely coffee shops on Oahu and a must-go in Kailua. You can feel the passion from the owners and staff. Attentive, impeccable service. Specialty matcha and dialed-in single origin espresso are what makes this shop a cut above the rest. The pastries are not necessarily a standout, but the hojicha-matcha basque cheesecake was a highlight. Please do yourself a favour and check this place out. The staff are so inviting and create a welcoming environment in which you can learn more about their selection, so don’t hesitate to ask. If you’re still not convinced, I made an hour round-trip just to stop by for a cup.
