Bold Coffee Bar

Crema's Take
“This beloved Philly institution is closing soon, but not before leaving a lasting impression on devoted regulars who've made it their go-to for three years running. What sets Bold apart is the owner's hands-on commitment to quality—from meticulously crafted espresso drinks and creative seasonal specials to a warm, attentive service style that makes first-timers feel genuinely welcomed. Pair your thoughtfully made latte with a fresh pastry or breakfast burrito and you'll understand why locals have called this a rare gem on the East Coast.”

I was truly heartbroken to hear that Bold Coffee Bar is closing down soon, it has been my favorite coffee in Philly for the past 3 years. I do not live near it so I have never been able to visit in person, so I always DoorDash it on special occasions, but the coffee alone has always been worth it. The coffee is truly something special and will miss it very much 💖 the burrito was also insanely good and only ever got it once, I still dream about it
Some of the best, high-quality coffee in the area. They have a ton of specials and fun flavors too! Just not dog friendly like many of the other coffee places in the city, but probably just for health reasons.
Service, vibe and overall quality was 5 ⭐️ . The owner was running it herself. Everything was delicious. I ordered a medium latte, cinnamon roll and bacon, egg and cheese burrito for $19!!
A rarity of a coffee shop on the east coast. Of course the coffee is good and they have a bunch of fun drinks but what makes it different is the excellent service. They are always kind, ask questions, make recommendations. Also dog friendly. Lastly, they have pretty good breakfast wraps. It really ain’t that hard and I’m tired of years of overly breaded BECs.
This is a great coffee shop with a great vibe. The staff was very friendly and approachable especially since it was our first time. My wife and I got 3 drinks to try their different menu options. We got a tea, a speciality coffee, and a cold brew. All tasted really great! The food was also good. This coffee shop is also wheelchair accessible. The doors are wider and there is an accessible bathroom. The coffee shop is smaller though so it can present spacing problems during a busier time. They do offer an outdoor table with seating for those who want to drink and eat outdoors at the coffee shop.
