Kindlevan Cafe
200 College Ave, Medford, MA
Crema's Take
“Kindlevan Cafe is a compact counter spot that punches above its weight with standout smoothies and genuinely excellent reuben sandwiches, paired with a thoughtfully vegetarian-friendly hot food bar that rotates reliably. The espresso drinks here are their main focus, though reviewers note they're pricier than typical—a worthwhile splurge if you're in Medford and craving something craft-focused rather than quick-and-forgettable. It's the kind of place that works best as a deliberate stop rather than a grab-and-go, especially if you're there for their specialty beverages or the kitchen's more ambitious offerings.”
What to expect
Espresso-focused, good cold brew. Quick-grab spot. Light food on the menu.

For what it is, it's great. That is, a small counter serving institutional cafeteria food. The selection is small, but the hot-food bar almost always had something good. Vegetarian options are ample. And I love the space. Definitely a good place for a bite on campus.
