Crema's Take

This Orlando cafe is as much about community as it is about coffee, with owner Jonny cultivating a genuinely welcoming sanctuary where poetry nights and trivia events draw regulars back again and again. The espresso program shines with Filipino artisan beans pulled on an impressive machine, while the thoughtfully curated atmosphere—complete with books to browse and excellent music selection—makes it the kind of place where lingering for hours feels natural. Whether you're stopping by for a meticulously crafted specialty drink or settling in with a local beer and friends, the infectious warmth of the staff and the vibrant neighborhood energy make BookBurn feel less like a coffee shop and more like a cultural gathering spot.

Love the concept. My wife brought me in for a drink and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is super friendly. Shout out to all of them for making the place so welcoming. The drinks and the music selection are great too. If you're looking for a chill place to wind down after work, this is a great spot.

Very much a sanctuary to grab a book and burn some time (pun very much I tended). It has its charm and is worth the visit. Drinks are great. Vibe is strong. People are extra friendly.

Omg, this place is incredible. We attended the grand opening event, here, and we had an amazing time!! This place hits all the marks in providing something for everyone, coffee, drinks, books, trivia events, performance, and the list goes on. The decor and spacial layout gives such sophisticated New York vibes…but also so cozy and inviting. The staff could not have been more welcoming and the owner worked the room, making sure everyone there felt seen and important. Don’t miss this spot - it’s a diamond in the ruff.

I had an amazing time drinking local Florida beers with my friends here. The team at BookBurn was very welcoming and they have a beautiful espresso machine that features Filipino artisan coffee. I am excited to have a new hangout spot in the Milk District!!!
