Great food, lovely service, lots of gift ideas and hostess things. If you’re driving to go visit, someone stop by and you will be thrilled with the fun ideas from stocking stuffers to meaningful gifts or something to bring home. That’s more than just a souvenir. I love that. They have plenty of food options for plant-based eaters. Savory and sweet.

Lovely store with many local and unique gift items. Cafe at the back serves fresh prepared food, espresso, and at least a dozen ice cream flavors from two local creameries. A seashell and seaside collection is on the mezzanine floor with a couple of hidden chairs, lounge chairs and tables. Lovely spot.

If you come to Port Gamble, you definitely want to stop by the Port Gamble General Store and Cafe. The place is positively PACKED with fun, fascinating, and useful stuff, some for kids, but mostly for adults. We had lunch at the cafe in the back. We shared a half mango curry chicken sandwich on sourdough with a cup of minestrone soup. I ate the sandwich, which was so jammed full I had to get a fork to eat it all. It was packed with fresh, unexpected, and delicious flavors. My husband loved the thick, homemade minestrone. If you leave this place hungry, you weren't paying attention! If you have time, which we didn't today, be sure to explore the world-class collection of shells in the museum upstairs.

What a darling store! They had all kinds of wonderful souvenirs and my favorite, saltwater Taffy. I got some beautiful coasters, stickers and magnets. They had a wide variety to choose from. Port Gamble is absolutely a darling little town.
