Menehune Coffee Company

Crema's Take

Located in Kailua-Kona airport, Menehune Coffee Company is an espresso-focused spot that captures both the highs and lows of a convenience-driven location. While some customers rave about genuinely excellent coffee and speedy, friendly baristas, others have encountered inconsistent service and quality control issues—from improperly steamed lattes to drinks that don't match what was ordered. If you're catching a flight and want solid specialty espresso drinks, it's worth a try, though be prepared for airport pricing and variable execution.

Bad service in general. I ordered a large iced Honu latte, but the staff gave me a small. When I pointed it out, she simply poured the drink into a larger cup and added more ice—it took about five seconds. The one works on Wednesday morning (8:30am). Plus, the coffee shop was pretty slow.

Spent $17.75 for a latte and a muffin. It’s to be expected that any food/drink in the airport is going to be diabolically expensive. The coffee mediocre but what are me want to leave a review was the pastry. This was the literal worst muffin I have ever had. I got the lilikoi muffin. It was so stale and barely tasted like anything l. Extremely disappointed at how bad the food options are at this airport.

The coffee here was the best I've had in a while, especially for being at a small airport! The barista is upbeat, friendly and made my drink faster than I could blink. Worth a visit for sure.

Family spent $82 on coffee , and asked for a ice water, response was it's $1.75 , and you would have to get back in line to pay! $12.75 for a frappachino😳!
