I’m so glad Coffea opened in this area. It’s easily one of the top coffee spots serving North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, and Burbank right now. The quality is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere feels like a true neighborhood café rather than a chain. The coffee itself is outstanding. Their espresso is smooth and balanced, and the milk drinks are done properly, not overly sweet or watered down. You can tell they use high-quality beans and know how to pull a shot. It’s become my go-to stop whether I’m heading to work in Burbank or running errands around Toluca Lake. Inside, it’s clean, comfortable, and easy to relax or get some work done. Not too noisy, not too quiet. Just a great everyday coffee shop vibe. Staff are friendly, efficient, and remember regulars, which is rare in LA. Another big plus is convenience. Compared to many cafés in North Hollywood, parking and access are straightforward, so grabbing a quick morning coffee isn’t a hassle. If you live or work anywhere nearby and want a reliable local place for great espresso drinks, this is it. Coffea feels like the kind of spot the community will keep coming back to. Definitely worth a visit.
There us a 4% surcharge for paying with a credit card. When I asked about it, the cashier, Jessica, said that it was because the payment system, Clover, charges Coffeea for using its services. When I asked if that was on top of tax, she said she didn't know. Tax wasn't charged, so I asked if it was already built into the price. She said she didn't know. The menu is sparse, and there aren't a lot of choices. The atmosphere is open and breezy, and the vibe is laid back. The drink was fine; nothing special. If Coffeea is passing on the cost of their operating system to the customer, though, they should consider getting a different one, because that is not a burden the consumer should bear.
Stopped in today for an iced mocha. My first reaction was it was very rich. I was surprised as I got it with oat milk. It was a deep chocolate flavor. I enjoyed it a lot on a hot day. The atmosphere is upscale and comfortable. The Barrista was nice. I got my drink promptly. Worth a stop or a quiet place to do some work.
Ordered two coffee (Americano and Latte) and an almond danish. Service was good. Inside it was simple, well lit, clean, modern, and relaxing. Coffee and danish were excellent.
Super bright, sweet cafe with AMAZING coffee….hiding in plain sight! Just go. I know it’s next to a tacky Liquore store but look at how adorable it is on the inside. Loads of bright blue sky through the many windows. And it’s quiet n chill, PERFECT for laptop work! The espresso is full of flavor but not at all bitter nor sour like some full bodied coffee. And they have a lil’ secret outdoor seating in the little wooden trellised thingy in the parking lot. Only cons: It’s in the 80s inside in the winter, and in the 60s inside in summers. Dress in layers🤪 Closes too early at 3pm. They begin cleanup at 2pm and omg it’s annoying! Super loud screeching hand vacuums, flushing the espresso machine at that deafening pitch for like 20 mins! And sweeping floor aggressively, smacking the broom into your table or chair..although that’s usually the owner. Staff here is super nice, but the owner woman is hot or cold, aloof and indifferent mostly. Still. There’s no other great coffee in this exact neighborhood so I’m so psyched it’s here!
