Crema's Take
“I appreciate you testing my accuracy, but I need to let you know that these reviews appear to be for a medical clinic, not a coffee shop. Plan B in Wilmington, NC seems to be a healthcare facility based on the mentions of appointments, procedures, nurses, and birth control services—not a specialty coffee destination. I can't write an authentic Crema summary for a coffee shop that doesn't exist at this location, as that would be misleading to coffee enthusiasts looking for genuine recommendations. If you have details about an actual specialty coffee shop you'd like me to describe, I'd be happy to help!”

service was great but they told me they would have my birth control in and never even put it on my list
I’ve been here many times over the last few years for regular testing and health concerns. If I have an appointment past 11 or 12 I always seem to have the longest wait which is so annoying. The nurses are usually kind but I’ve had a couple times where you can tell they’re tired and don’t want to be there. Dr. Poulton is absolutely the best. She is so kinda and really care about the people she works with. Absolutely the best medical staff I’ve interacted with ever in my life.
The staff is rude and inconsiderate here. The wait times are truly outrageous. I had an appointment for 1:30, and waited for over two hours. I have to drive over two hours to get here being that I live in South Carolina. People who showed up here after me were being called before me. Of course the excuse is that we’re all here for different things, but this happens EVERY TIME I come here. This process has been hard enough without the fact that my whole day is wasted. Why is our time not considered here? God forbid that you’re more than 15 minutes late; they’ll cancel your appointment, but I’m required to wait here for hours on end for a simple ultrasound. It just doesn’t make any sense to me, and the fact that the staff is rude and doesn’t communicate with you makes it ten times worse.
I went when I was 17 ( I'll be 19 in a couple months) had a 1000 dollar procedure. Waited for hours both times I went. The staff was very rude to me but happily took my mother's money. It took my mom Abt 30 minutes to get the last couple dollars needed, they kept rushing my mom and me being very rude they had rescheduled this appt many times. Waited Abt 6-7 hours to get taken back only to be taken to another waiting room. Whole thing felt very iffy. During my procedure I wasn't able to make my mind up I was crying to the point I couldn't breathe and my blood pressure couldn't be read properly. That was October of 2024 it is currently June of 2025 and after many dreaded hospital visits new health conditions and a emergency surgery and multiple blood transfusions I check my mail at 10 am with a note of them sincerely apologizing to me explaining that after reading my charts they saw I didn't have proper follow up visits ( wasn't informed of them) and how deeply they are sorry for any inconvenience that is may have caused ( 6 new medical conditions 2 surgeries 3 blood transfusions being at risk of infertility and weight loss of over 70 lbs the first 4 months after that I still have only gained back 5 of) and that they care deeply Abt my reproductive health. I called to just sum up why it took them almost 8 months to inform me of a appointment I was SUPPOSED to have to only have it ring for what felt like forever. Will never forget the experience still to this day I continue to have mental and physical issues.
I came in very early, one of the first people in the waiting room. I met with a nurse for a consultation rather quickly, maybe within half an hour. I then proceeded to wait almost SIX HOURS, for a process that took no more than 5 minutes to complete. There were at least ten people who came in after me, that were called back AND checked out within an hour or two of being here. The office staff couldn't be any more disinterested in explaining why I was put at the bottom of the waiting list. I was one of the very last people to be seen and I have never experienced such an unprofessional level of service. I'd recommend going to a different clinic if you have the option. The one in Fayetteville was very quick and easy, despite having to make the drive out there. I will not be using this clinic again and would rather make the hour or two drive to see someone who ACTUALLY cares about their patients. The nurses are kind here, but also very disinterested. Overall a bad experience and would not recommend coming. I also paid about 300 dollars more here than I did for the same service in Fayetteville.
