Frio Mexican Treats

Visiting Appleton with my daughter checking out Lawrence University. Decided to stop in Frios and I am so happy I did. Excellent food and fantastic service. I am low key glad they are not in my home town, because I would end up so fat. Would recommend to all my friends.

I visited on Sunday and ordered a strawberry mangonada with gummies. However, the gummies did not have any grey coloring, but I noticed some grey in the ice cream just before taking a bite. This was unexpected, as there should not be any grey in the ice cream. I am uncertain how the grey substance ended up there and have concerns about possible cross-contamination. Other than that, the workers were sweet and amazing and respectful, and always with a smile. It was only just this mess up.

The Best Churros, Elotes and Mangonadas I’ve ever had!! I love the variety and creative flavors they have. Not pictured but ordered the flaming hot Cheetos Elote, Strawberry with Mango mangonada (pictured) and as a complimentary also tried the Vanilla Bavarian Churro, and everything was absolutely delicious!! The staff and owner are very friendly annd courteous. Great place for antojitos and helados. I highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered the captain crunch and the s’mores. Delicious! The churros were hot and paired really well with the ice cream. Super unique place!

This was a fun stop in town to get something sweet. We got churros with ice cream and it was delicious! Each component tasted home made and fresh and the prices were reasonable. The churros were soft and perfectly cooked, not overdone or too raw inside. The ice cream had a nice texture and wasn't too sweet. I would highly recommend stopping by, especially as a treat with friends and family.
