Crema's Take

Letizia's Natural Bakery is a genuinely cozy Chicago refuge where you can linger over excellent coffee and pastries without feeling rushed, complete with the charm of a fireplace video on the wall and multiple patios to choose from. The staff here are notably warm and knowledgeable, making even a quick bagel run feel like you've been welcomed into something special, and the thoughtfully curated menu goes beyond typical cafe fare with surprises like tomato soup and inventive paninis that keep regulars coming back.

A wonderful place to spend some time and have a coffee and bagel. Plus a muffin! I lingered because it is so cozy. A video of a fireplace supplies a satisfying gaze on a chilly Chicago afternoon. I discovered this bakery at the Logan Square Farmers Market in 2016 and stop in as often as possible for a respite from the dynamic world of an Uber driver on Chicago.

"I really enjoyed my visit to Letizia's Natural Bakery Street. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The cafe has a comfortable, inclusive atmosphere, and street parking is convenient when available. A great spot to relax and enjoy good food."

Came to Letizia's to get a beautiful Sunday in Chicago started. I was just going to do my normal breakfast of a coffee and croissant, but was forced to call an audible. I saw a tomato soup on the menu, and one of my only known weaknesses is a good tomato soup in the fall. It doesn’t stand a chance against me. I ordered an americano, the tomato soup, and an everything bagel to dip in the soup. I felt I had a stroke of genius adding that bagel. I felt like I just hit a 500 ft BOMB to dead center. I was proud of myself and asked the sweet lady behind the counter if she saw my vision. She chuckled and said, "I see it!" Much to my chagrin, when the tomato soup came, it was accompanied by a huge piece of fresh bread that turned out to be MUCH better to dip in the soup than my bagel. I wish she would have told me it came with bread as I wouldn't have ordered the bagel... had me lookin like a FOOL... all love though. The tomato soup turned out to be phenomenal in this weather, and I spun the joke back on her as I ended up finishing both the bagel and the bread. IMMA BIG DAWG! The server was super sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable! They had so many different options to choose from, and everything was very tasty. They also have a front patio, back patio with a garden/fountain, and a cute inside. Absolutely recommend!

Food was good we had the gobble gobble panini. Service was fast, the pastry did look good but I had to pass on it when I saw some flies on it. I also used the the men's bathroom where one the cashiers left the bathroom without flushing or washing her hands. Yes, the sink was dry - when I washed my hands.
