The Moon Café

Crema's Take
“Tucked in Prescott, this café is a sanctuary that's become woven into the community fabric, offering serene mornings and a genuinely huge, beautiful space that feels both calming and vibrant. Beyond the good coffee and light food, what truly sets it apart is its heart—it's run as a workforce development hub for local teens, giving young people real work experience and a safe gathering space to belong. Whether you're settling in with your laptop or meeting a friend, you're not just getting your caffeine fix; you're supporting something that matters.”

I stopped by not quite knowing what to expect, and I genuinely think it’s wonderful to have a space where teens can gather, socialize, and take part in activities. That kind of community environment is impotant. If part of the goal is to attract support from the general public to help fund the space, though, the pricing may be a challenge. Paying $5 for a coffee without even one refill feels a bit steep to me. It would also be great to see a few simple snack options available. Even something basic, like a warmed-up Safeway’s bakery blueberry muffin for $3, would make the visit more appealing and feel like a better overall value.
I LOVE this place! Incredibly beautiful space that is huge. Very calm in the morning. Have free wifi! Their whole mission is to provide workforce development to our local teens. It is a great service. I really enjoy the caprese panini and their butterfly tea! They also out on some amazing conerts and have great afterschool programs for teens! It’s free to attend for our youth.
The Launch Pad is such a wonderful place for the kids, it’s been great for mine. Love what they do and stand for. The Moon Cafe is top notch and has become part of my regular routine. Good coffee, good food and great service. Just like any place you want to go back to, the people make the difference.
A lovely place to grab a coffee, tea or snack and it supports local teens getting work experience. Love the Moon Cafe!
I wanted to see what The Launch Pad was all about. Catherine very graciously gave me a tour and explained the various components of the organization. I was very impressed. On my way out, I got a cup of decaf Americana at the Moon Cafe. It was excellent. I shop a lot of coffee bars so I believe I have a good sense of what a good cup of coffee is all about. Keep up the good work! Prescott is lucky to have such a gem for its youth. I wish all of you a healthy, happy and wonderful holiday season.
