We have traveled a lot and eaten at simple and fancy places all over the world. A Baseball tournament took us a few hours from home to Mesquite. The food at Cinnamon was great. The waiter was attentive and so kind. My 5 year old loves chicken strips and he claimed these were the best he has ever had. "Cinnamon is my first favorite restaurant!", is his claim. The atmosphere is simple, well kept and clean. It is located in a hotel/condo resort - not a casuno As we left our waiter chased us down to deliver the to-go boxes we mistakenly left behind. I'm not sure how to explain it - there was just a good feeling at this place. We'll be back.
Can't recommend this place .very high prices 15 to 20 per plate. I had ham and eggs with biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were nice, gravy was almost flavorless almost had a watery flavor, but the consistency was ok. Ham was small over cooked tough and dry. Potatoes looked not great, but they were crispy and tasted good. Probably my favorite part. My girl friends sandwich was ok. Tomato had the core still in it and it was the stem end(green center. Over all its not horrible, but I probably won't be back.
There aren’t a lot of food options in Mesquite other than the normal boring chains- but this local cafe is a hidden treasure . We weren’t expecting much from the outside - we were expecting similar to Dennys- but the menu is huge offering omelettes/salads/sandwiches/wraps/burgers/south of the border- we had the French toast and skillets and loved both. More importantly- the staff was super friendly and outgoing to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back next time we visit the area.
The portion size was about what you would find anywhere else. The food was really, really good. We had an omelette with French toast. The service was outstanding. Restaurant was clean.
The food was amazing and super large portions. The hostess/waitress was really nice and friendly. The only reason it wasn’t 5 stars was the wait for our food was really long- about 35-40 minutes after we ordered and there were only a few other people there. We had pancakes, eggs Benedict and a meat lovers skillet. Yummy!!
